Andrew Floyd Epperly, a beloved son and brother, passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 24. He was born on June 16, 1998 and diagnosed with a medical condition just 8 days later, which required a lifetime of medical appointments, hospital stays, and surgeries, some planned and some not.
Despite the many challenges he faced, Andrew remained a positive and inspiring presence in the lives of all who knew him. He impacted countless people along the way, and his infectious smile and boundless spirit touched the hearts of everyone he met.
One of Andrew's most memorable experiences was his Make-A-Wish trip to Anna Maria Island in Florida when he was around 10 years old. This trip was a testament to his resilience and determination to make the most out of every moment.
Throughout his life, Andrew's unwavering faith in God and Jesus provided him and his family with the strength and support they needed to face every obstacle. His mother often shared that it was not her strength alone that allowed her to care for Andrew and maintain a positive attitude, but rather the unwavering support of her faith.
Andrew's connection to Jesus was something special and unique, which only he and Jesus truly understood. He lived his life as an example of unwavering faith and trust.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd Epperly, Lenore Epperly, Jay Stothers, and Barbara Stothers.
He is survived by his parents, Eric and Connie Epperly; siblings, Nicole (Vu) Tong, Zachary (Cheyenne) Epperly, and Evan Epperly; and nephew, Koen Tong.
A funeral service for Andrew will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W Powell Blvd, Gresham, OR 97030.
