Wilma Dean Luton, 84, of Poteau, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was retired from Southern Steel and Wire and was a member of Faith Chapel in Hartford.

She is survived by one son, Lyn Luton and wife, Brenda; three daughters, Sue Parks, Bea Cook and husband, Joe of Huntington and Kathy Slater and husband, Bob of Waldron; one brother, James Steele; one sister, Wanda “Sudie” Suttles; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guthrie Porter Luton; a daughter, Debbie Brassfield; one brother, Morris “Buck” Steele; three sisters, Eleanor Gramling, Francis Keener and Betty Woosley and one grandson, David Seth.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 19 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Hartford Memorial Park. Viewing will be Tuesday from 1 – 7 p.m., where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
