Sam Scharbor

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Washburn Church of Christ with burial at Washburn Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty; one son, Tommy Scharbor and wife, Elizabeth of Greenwood; one daughter, Sandra Britton and husband, Bill of Booneville; one sister, Charleen Bell and husband, George of Washburn; three grandchildren, Audree Cook, Mitchell Scharbor and Shelby Britton and two great grandchildren, Bryson and Aurora Cook.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Hicks, Dwight Taylor, Gomer Cumbie, Jim Evans, Roger Woods and Carl Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Washburn Coffee Drinkers and Greenwood Fixtures Employees.
