Norma Sue Dunn Pennington

Norma Sue Pennington, 75, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born March 31, 1935 to Elmer and Opal Dunn in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and former mini storage manager. She attended Oliver Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Rudy.

Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, October 11, 2010 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 3 – 5 pm.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bob Pennington of Van Buren; one son, Dr. Brad Pennington of Denver, CO; one daughter, Sheryl Rutledge and husband, Doug of Bossier City, LA; two sisters, Betty Smith of San Antonio, TX and Josephine Johnson of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Christopher and Paige Rutledge and Chance and Ian Pennington and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dunn, Paul Wade Dunn, Rex Driscoll, Marty Driscoll, Marion Driscoll, Mark Hewitt, Doug Rutledge and Brad Pennington.
