JoAnn Taylor

JoAnn Taylor, 71, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 in her home. She was born December 3, 1951 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Ralph and Neva (Dearen) McClain. She was retired from Whirlpool.

She is survived by her husband, John Taylor; two sons, John Taylor, Jr. and wife, Mandi of Prairie Grove and Richie Cagle and wife, Jamie of Greenwood; three brothers, Don Rush and wife, Betty of Greenwood, Gerald McClain and wife, Sue of Oregon, Herbert McClain and wife, Marla of Greenwood; three sisters, Brenda Davenport and husband, Jerry of Fort Smith, Norma Minton and husband, Jimmy of Illinois and Donna Brenner of Oregon; eight grandchildren, Ethan Cagle, Bobby Painter, Peyton Cagle, Caden Taylor, Braydon Todd, Victoria Todd, Abby Cagle and Anna Marie Raschkov; one great granddaughter, Aubree Cagle and two brothers-in-law, Raymond Taylor of Fort Smith and David Taylor of Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert Bell; one daughter, Twighla Painter; two brothers, J.W. Rush and Robert McClain and one granddaughter, Alysha Painter.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, August 7 at McConncll Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be John Taylor, Jr., Richie Cagle, Ethan Cagle, Bobby Painter, Peyton Cagle, Caden Taylor and Braydon Todd.
