Jimmy Dale Edwards, 76, of Muldrow, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in a Harrison hospital. He was a truck driver for the City of Fort Smith for many years, member of the Wister First Baptist Church, U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Muldrow VFW Post 8384.
Funeral with military honors will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 11 at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Viewing will be Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., where the family will visit with friends from 3:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m.
He is survived by his sister, Rhonda Thorp and husband, Doug and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Ruth Edwards; parents, Samuel and Lillian Edwards and sister, Paulette James.
