Donald Allen Beshears

Donald Allen Beshears, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 in Fort Smith. He was born August 14, 1941 in Fort Smith to Elmer Robert and Tura Elna (Wood) Beshears. He was a retired businessman, graduate of Greenwood High School and Westark Community College and a member of the Greenwood Church of Christ.

He is survived by three sons, Allen Beshears and wife, Valerie of Greenwood, Keith Beshears of Fort Knox, Kentucky and Ewan Beshears and wife, Jessica Simmons of Fort Smith; two daughters, Tina Harp and Marcia Daubert; one sister, Shirley Hanry of Hackett; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Edna Mae (Kilgore) Beshears, three brothers, Bill, Jim and Roger Beshears and a brother-in-law, Lenoir Hanry.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 13 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
