Delbert Stallings, 84, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in his home. He was born December 27, 1938 in Greenwood to Harlan Harold Stallings and Eddie Lillian (Stroud) Stallings. He was retired from Whirlpool, member of Meno’s Bible Class, former member of the Sebastian County Mounted Patrol and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin Stallings of Arizona and Rain Story of Fort Smith; three sisters, Becky Trotter of Hackett, Darl Dean Kulmaczewski of Fort Worth and Joyce Russell of Greenwood; a special niece, Susan “Suse” Russell; five grandchildren, Keather Hansen, Jessica Varner, Liara Stallings, Coleman Gann and Lachan Siebenmorgen; four great grandchildren and his dog, Troubles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brand Stallings; a grandson, Christopher Strozier; his companion of 12 years, Pat Shaw; one brother, Arville Stallings and one sister, June Pelham.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 12 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Stroud Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday before the service.
Pallbearers will be members of Meno’s Bible Class.
