Connie Marie Morrison

Connie Marie Morrison, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 in her home. She was born December 14, 1950 in Midland, Arkansas to John Wesley and Willie Marie (Kazy) Hearron. Connie loved everyone and never met a stranger, she would strike up a conversation with anyone.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Morrison; one son, Mark Morrison and wife, Stephanie of Fort Smith; one daughter, Tammie Oliver and husband, David of Royal, Arkansas; one brother, Henry Hearron and wife, Nancy of Midland; one sister, Colleen Canoy and husband, Robert of Fort Smith and five grandchildren, Kylee, Maggie and Wesley Morrison and Haylee and Sophee Oliver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Fred Hearron, Tommy Hearron and John Ray Hearron, three sisters, Ann Turney, Mary Sue Hanna and Linda Riebow and two grandchildren, Emilee and Chloee Oliver.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 9 at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Jenny Lind First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
