Charlotte J. Strunk, 90, of Huntington, Arkansas gained her wings Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Greenwood. She was born July 6, 1930 to Martin and Lena Bucella with a twin brother, Charles. She retired from Hartford School after 25 years being the school food service manager and then went on to do the grandparent program for 15 years. She was very active in her church and loved to sing, she was a lifelong member of Midland First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, March 26 at Midland First Baptist Church with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
She is survived by four sons, Martin Strunk and wife, Margaret, Bill Allan Strunk, Mike Strunk and wife, Karen and Steve Strunk and wife, Karan, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Eugene Bucella; a sister, Esther Farmer; grandson, Nick Strunk and her husband, Billy J. Strunk.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
