We all know about him…. Everyone Does…… We all loved his methods……

My late husband, Corny Hudak, was a close friend to A J , Richard and Steven for several years. At the time - AJ Oster was a customer of Plume & Atwood where my husband served as President and AJ served on the Board of Directors. I worked there also and remember a young Steve Oster coming into the office with a great smile on his face. Very friendly to all of us. Throughout the years my husband mentioned the Osters and always wondered where Steve was - he would be sad to learn that Steve passed so young. My sincere sympathies to the family of this smiling, friendly young man.

I was in contact with Stephen until about one month prior his passing.

Although we eventually lived far apart I always looked at him as a special friend and person.  He was indeed one of a kind.

It is with heartfelt sympathy we learn of his passing.

He will surely be missed by his family, friends and society

I just found out this afternoon. Many many fond memories from next door neighbors in Woodbridge-doing deals together- sharing time with you and the family - my heart is saddened by the loos of what was a real true friend. 
Although too young we were all blessed by his presence- will miss him dearly

Stephen was a wonderful man.  It was an honor to know him.  I can still hear him and Rusty speaking together throughout the night.   He will be missed more than words can say. My condolences to the Oster family.  I do remember the excitement at the AJO Providence office in 1978 when Sarah was born - that week in March was when my employment began with the Oster family. Stephen always had a smile and words of wisdom to share.  May he be at peace.

Sandy, I cannot tell you how sad I am to hear about Steve's passing.  This is not what I wanted to read first thing MOnday morning nor the email I would have liked to get from you.  I am so glad I had the chance to meet him and your warm and loving relationship was quite obvious to anyone in your presence. I fondly remember my days spent in Bolivia with Stephen by my side while we were working on a metals contract.  Unbeknownst, Stephen made a sizeable donation in my name to a foster child I was sponsoring in the area.  That's just the kind of guy he way!  He will be missed.  Tom and Joyce Rose
