Michael James Mullen

Michael James Mullen, 49, of Greenwich, Connecticut, died Tuesday, February 5 at New York- Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 23, 1963 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Mary and James Mullen. Mike grew up in Hingham, Massachusetts and went on to graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mike’s career spanned 25 years in the investment business including time at Oppenheimer in institutional equity sales and most recently with Gerry Farber LLC, a New York based hedge fund. Mike enjoyed traveling with his family, skiing, golf, and his beloved New England Patriots. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Tracy and their two daughters Sarah, a sophomore at Gettysburg College and Caroline a seventh grader at Central Middle School. He also leaves behind a brother James of Hingham, Massachusetts. Friends and family may visit on Friday February 8th between the hours of 4-8 pm at Leo P. Gallagher and Son, 31 Arch St. Greenwich, Connecticut. Mike’s life will be celebrated on Saturday February 9th at 2:00 PM at St. Michael’s Church, 469 North St. Greenwich, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association or The Newman Catholic Center, 472 North Pleasant Street Amherst, Massachusetts 01002.
