"To everything there is a season....."Ecclesiastes 3:1
A time to be born:
Crystal Yvette Hatch was born in Howard County, Columbia Maryland. She was the daughter of Shelia Hatch and Leon Richardson Jr. She was the proud mother of Kennedy King and step daughter Sharae Nix. Throughout her formative years and continuing throughout her life's journey, she especially loved her sister Deon Kwarula, her brother in love (law) Vincent Kwarula her brother Paris Richardson, her Auntie Lelia Bostic, as well as all of her nieces and nephews. She was a happy child the grew and developed into a happy adult. The joy of her life was to be able to spread kindness to others. She was happiest when she was able to give above and beyond to all those that she loved. She had a true gift of spreading infectious laughter and a deep spirit of selflessness. Beyond sliver and gold, diamonds and pearls, she was a true gem.
A time to plant:
Crystal successfully completed her high school education at Gorton High School an went on to attend Mercy College. She later moved and became a longtime resident of Greenwich Connecticut. She was employed at the United States Post Office, White Plains Headquarters. There she worked as a Postal Service Employee right up until the time that she was called to take her rest. Life can take many twists and turns but according to her nephew Devin, Crystal brought joy and happiness to everyone and touched the lives of many who came into contact with her. She was considerate, loving, nurturing, devoted, and most importantly, the funniest person you could ever meet. Her daughter Kennedy considered her mom to be a Wonder Woman. She said, in order to encompass the essence of Crystal, one would have to know that she loved hard and fought even harder. She said, Crystal enjoyed weekend vacations, reading the newspaper, watching reality tv, and watching Investigation Discovery. Although she enjoyed every big family holiday known to man kind, she also enjoyed Buffalo Wild Wings. She will forever be missed, cherished, and honored.
A time to die:
During Crystal's last few years on this earth, she was able to spend time with her family and friends. She created long lasting memories before departing this earth. On Sunday, October 18,2020 she received a call from God, He informed her that her new home was complete and she could move in. He did not have to convince her to leave, for she knew that where she was headed she would find peace, joy, happiness, no more pain, no more strife, no discontent, only serenity. She answered the call and departed this world and went on to sleep in heavenly peace.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her much loved daughter Kennedy King, her step daughter Sharae Nix, her mother Shelia Hatch, her father Leon Richardson Jr., her sister Deon Kwarula, her brother in love (law) Vincent Kwarula, her brother Paris Richardson and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
