Tim Bright passed away peacefully after a long valiant fight with cancer on October 4.

Throughout his fight he exhibited the type of courage, determination, and selflessness that made our families proud. Tim believed if his journey could save one person, his battle was worth it.

Tim played on championship baseball teams at Riverside High School and the University of South Carolina and worked at Carolina’s Wealth Management Group until his death.

Surviving him are his wife, Jenny Clanton Bright, parents, Tom & Rickia Bright, brother Steven (Haley) Bright, beloved in-laws James & Cindy Clanton and Sarah Clanton (David) Byars, nieces and nephew, Lillian & Harlan Bright and Brynn Byars, grandparents, Hal & Dottie Bright, Rich & JoAnna Freeburg and Doris Clanton.

Services will be Saturday October 11, 2014 at 12:30PM at Greenville First Baptist Church, 847 Cleveland St. Greenville, SC. A reception celebrating Tim's life and legacy will follow.

Tim never understood the point of flowers and refused to ever send any. For that, we ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the organization we believe in most, iTOR.
