Thomas “Tommy” Earle Bishop, Sr. 73, of Greer, SC went home to be with his Lord on Monday, August 25, 2014. Born in Greenville, SC he was the son of the late William Harold and Jacqueline Bishop. Tommy retired from Bilo as a Truck Driver. He was a member of Good Shepherd Assembly of God in Travelers Rest and a lifetime member of Bailey Masonic Lodge #246. He is survived by three sons: Tommy Bishop, Jr. (Carmen) of Spartanburg, Richard Bishop, Sr. (Nadine) of Travelers Rest, and Joe Bishop (Tracy) of Travelers Rest; a daughter: Vickie Poole (Tommy Jones) of Greer; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 brothers. He was predeceased by his loving wife: Mary Pearle Gosnell Bishop; a daughter: Mary Ann Bishop and 2 sisters. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
