Steven Harold Estes

Born in Anderson he was the son of Sue Callaham Estes Skarupa and the late William Harold Estes, Jr.

Steve was employed with Hartness International. His job made him a world traveler and he retired after 30 plus years of service. He also was a resident ambassador of Manning House.

Steve loved life and took it to the fullest. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his daughter, Danna Ashley Estes-Moore and her husband Jay; his grandson, Garrett Moore; his siblings, Mike Boje-Estes (Erica); Vicki Skarupa (Mike); and Stan Estes; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Wynn (Donald); Caroline Skarupa; Mary Skarupa; Will Boje-Estes; and Harrison Estes; his great niece, Ella Wynn; and his former wife and friend, Trina Estes.

He is also survived by his special friends Stephanie Garland, Miranda McKinney, and Madolyn McKinney; and his loyal pet bulldog, Jenny.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2:00pm at The Mackey Mortuary.

Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Belton.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
