Rachel Allen Neely

Rachel Allen Neely, 69, went to be with our Lord and Savior, unexpectedly on Monday October 23, 2023 at home. She was born in Glens Falls, NY to the late John Joseph Allen and Isabelle Pauline Campbell Allen.

Rachel cherished her grandchildren. She is so thankful to be blessed by God to have such a wonderful family. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Michael “Mickey” Neely of 32 years. Rachel is survived by a daughter, Talichia Renee Ellenburg and her husband Chad Ellenburg, grandchildren: Christian Michael Ellenburg, Steven Chase Ellenburg, Chloe Rachelle Ellenburg and Chandler Jace Ellenburg. Also surviving siblings: Loreen Raney (Dan), Lenora Allen, Lorelie Phillips (David), Lorita Pool (Mark), Joel Allen (Sue), Phillip Allen, Mary Anderson, and John Allen (Rebecca); Her family also consisted of numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews from South Carolina, New York, and Georgia. Her family will remember her as a most loving mother, grandmother and sister. Rachel retired from BMW after 16 years of service

Services will be Friday October 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Rev. Paul Williamson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
