Paul Neal O’Shields passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was a 1972 graduate of Landrum High School and was employed by Michelin of Spartanburg US3 for 29 years. Paul enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing, but relationships were also particularly important to him. He frequently called friends and family to check in on them and would often be found talking to someone new when out and about. His church home was Wellford Baptist Church.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Jewell O’Shields, and is survived by wife of almost 43 years, Donna O’Shields, daughter, Kristen Garrett (Jake), and nephew, Shane O’Shields (Rachel).
Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Mackey Funeral Home at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A service will follow at 2:00 pm with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties, Inc.
