She is survived by her sister, Frances Palmer Roberson Sak of Santa Cruz, California and was preceded in death by her brother, John Linton Roberson Ill.
She attended the public schools of Greenville, graduated with honors from Ashley Hall School in Charleston, and earned the B.A. in History, cum laude, from Furman University.
A priest of The Episcopal Church, she graduated from The General Theological Seminary in New York City with the degree of Master of Divinity.
She served at Christ Church, Lancaster, St. Peter's, Greenville, and St. John's Shandon in Columbia. Before ordination, she was Director of Ministry with the Aging at Christ Church, Greenville.
In 1978, Mary Moore recognized the need to provide meals for the hungry in Greenville. She initiated and was a leader in the planning that led to the Project Hope Soup Kitchen which opened in 1981. She was also a leader in 1987 of the establishment of The Greenville Free Medical Clinic.

The liturgy of The Burial of the Dead will take place at Christ Church, 10 N. Church Street,
Greenville, S.C. at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
There will be a reception at the church following the service.
