Mary Lee Koerner

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Marcel Nottingham and sisters, Roberta Helen Nottingham and Zelda Kay Fitzpatrick (Kevin), her step-son, Conrad Koerner, Jr. (Rose), a very dear and best friend, Vera Moore, a granddaughter, Kathy Piotrasch, two great-granddaughters, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Mary Lee was born and raised in Warren, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Years after moving south, she moved to South Carolina to take care of her mother until her mother’s death in 2006. Mary Lee loved to cook and bake and was well known for her microwave fudge and baked bread. She was kind-hearted and was never happier than when she could give to others. She loved cats, crafting (she made beautiful wreaths and jewelry), shopping and Yankee candles.

There will be no formal service, but a gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm at Pizza City, 1547 N. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
