Mary "Fran" Frances Coleman

Mary “Fran” Frances Coleman, 74, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023. She was born January 20, 1949 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Cecil L. Greene and Mary Frances Owens Greene. She graduated from Wade Hampton High School in 1967. Fran attended Brenau University in Gainesville, GA and Furman University in Greenville, SC. During her work career, she was a legal secretary for Sol Abrams, attorney, and an office coordinator for Self Starters in Greenville, SC.

Fran’s greatest love was her family. Her fondest memories were with her family and friends, summers at the pool and beach, and the companionship of her dog Sashae.

She will forever be remembered for her love of life and kind heart that touched everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed by all.

Fran is survived by her son, Harvey Hall; daughter, Kelli Smith; granddaughters: Hailey Smith of Anderson and Savannah Padilla McClure (Taylor) of Greenville; great-granddaughter Ivy Stowe of Greenville; her sister-in-law, Brenda Greene, niece Mary Beth Greene and nephew Matthew Greene. Fran was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Earl Lawrence "Larry" Greene.

Her favorite quotes were:
