Keith William Walker

Keith William Walker, 68, of Greenville, SC passed away on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024. Born on September 8th, 1955, to Carolyn Wells Walker and the late Dr. William P. Walker, he grew up in Mars Hill, NC and graduated from Mars Hill College in 1977.

After several years coaching basketball at both the high school and college level, he went into the financial industry. He held various positions with multiple investment institutions as advisor, sales manager and in program leadership roles. Recently, Keith combined his long-held passion for coaching with his love of the financial world by working as an Internal Wholesale Manager at TD Bank, heading up sales and practice management coaching for TD Investment Services Financial Advisors.

The outdoors was Keith’s sanctuary. He loved fishing, hiking and golfing. His son, Ryan, was his pride and joy, they loved talking finance, fishing, basketball and family. He found delight in the escapades of his nieces, nephews and their families. Getting together with family, friends and colleagues was a favorite pastime.

Keith is survived by mother, Carolyn Walker; wife Debra Walker; son, Ryan Riedel and wife Lindsay. Also, sister Teresa (Jim) Roberts; brother, Joe (Janet) Walker. And many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues and his pup, Mia Sophia. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at O’Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home located at 1310 S. Main St. Lillington, NC 27546. The family will receive visitors after the service at the home of Jim and Teresa Roberts, 133 Spring Lane, Lillington, NC 27546.
