Helen Inez Kay

Helen was born April 27, 1921 in Easley , SC to the late Alma Bell Thomson Wilson and Andy Eulas Wilson.

Helen worked for Abney Mills for over 40 years in the weave room. She was a long time member of Brandon Baptist church where she worked with GA's and WMU.

Helen is survived by two sons; Larry William Kay (Angela) and Tony Kay (Susan). Also surviving Helen are three granddaughters; Stephanie Kay Fleming (Kevin), Melissa Kay Brashier (Walter), Heather Kay Jerbi and five great grandchildren; Drew Fleming, Hayden Brashier, Davis Fleming, Ella Brashier, and Avery Brashier. Also left to cherish Helen's memory are many loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death two brothers; Ferber Wilson, JB Wilson and sister Kathleen Wilson Williams "Sis".

A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609, followed by a funeral service officiated by Rev. Michael Hodge at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the funeral service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to Meals on Wheels of Greenville, 15 Oregon St. Greenville, SC 29605.
