Born August 20, 1937, in Nashua, NH, the only child of Arthur Joseph and Eva Jean Chouinard.
Eva graduated from Academy Maria Assumpta, Petersham, Massachusetts and in 1956 married the man she always said she would, Ronald L Blais, her love, and dedicated steadfast companion for 68 years.
Eva is predeceased by her sons Francis L, Stephen G, and Timothy J Blais, and daughter Anne C Blais. She is survived by her husband Ronald L Blais, her son Allen H Blais of Raleigh, NC, daughter Julie A Roberts of Beaufort, SC, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Eva was an angel among us with a truly loving and sacrificial heart. She was deeply devoted to her husband, children, grand- and great grandchildren. Eva lovingly dedicated her time in service to others through many different avenues. Eva never met a stranger. She was also a true advocate for animals of all kinds. She enjoyed camping and traveling the US with her husband and German Shepherds, loved to play tennis, read, crochet, and to make her holiday peanut brittle for everyone. She loved everything Christmas, Santa, cows, and German Shepherds!
Viewing will be held from 6pm-9pm on Tuesday, July 23rd, at Mackey Funeral Chapel, Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville), with Rosary Service at 7:00pm.
