Dorothy Jeanne Pierce

Dorothy Jeanne Pierce of Easley, SC passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late John Robert Pierce. She was born in Warren, PA to the late Russell Irwin and Jeanne Vandyke Low.

Dorothy graduated from Warren High in 1959 and in 1960 received her secretarial degree from Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY. She was a legal secretary for many years earning her CPS status in 1979 along with being name South Carolina secretary of the year that same year.

Dorothy worked for Suitt Construction and finished her career with Warren & Associates Design Build as an administrative secretary.

Dorothy was a member of Mauldin Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Bell (Doug) of York, SC; one grandchild Bradley Bell (Erica) of Tega Cay, SC; and two sisters: Becky Johnson of Erie, PA. and Cindy Strandburg (Dennis) of Warren, PA. along with many nieces and nephews.

Family, Friends and others who Dorothy touched are invited to her graveside celebration on December 16, at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.
