Doris Morton Wright, 97, widow of James Richard Wright, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at McCall Hospice House. She was born in Williston, TN to the late Robert Arthur Morton and Charlotte Letitia Boswell Morton.
Doris was a long time resident of Memphis, TN. Before her retirement, she was employed by C.W. Hussey Cotton Company in Memphis. After the passing of her husband in the early 1990’s, she relocated to Greenville, SC to be closer to family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mauldin.
She is survived by two daughters: Pam Spengeman (K.C) and Linda Cronin (Michael); grandchildren: Erin Hutchison (Todd), Megan Larkins (McKinley), Mollie Cromwell (Jacob), and Sean Cronin (Erin); great grandchildren: Desmond Hutchison, Henry and Isabel Larkins, Tyler and Kellan Cronin.
Graveside service officiated by the Rev. Erin Hutchison, will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Memphis Memorial Park, Memphis, TN.
