Deborah Lynn Talley

Deborah Lynn Talley (70) passed away on May 9, 2022. Debbie was born on July 13, 1951 in Greenville, SC. She was a 1969 graduate of Parker High School, where she was a cheerleader and beloved by all her classmates. In 1970 she married Gary E Turner, to which her only son was born, Gary E Turner Jr. In 1983, she married David E Talley, and in 1986 they moved to Glenrock, Wyoming, where they resided until returning to South Carolina in 2003.

Debbie’s passions were many, which included her love for art, shopping, socializing, and caring for her cats Noel and Vera. Debbie never met a stranger. If you ever met her, you were her friend; she was always willing to listen and laugh. Her smile was contagious. She loved to travel, and if you ever went on a trip with her, you never wanted to go again without her. She will be missed by many.

Debbie is predeceased by her parents Eustice J and Agnes M Knight. She is survived by her husband David Talley, son Gary Turner (Kristy), granddaughter Madison Turner, son Perry Talley (Teresa), brother-in-law Bruce Talley (Nancy Thompson), brother-in-law Paul Talley (Mary), three nieces, and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday May 15, 2022 with a graveside service immediately following at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
