Born February 10, 1964 in Huntington, WV to the late David and Dorothy Smith. He was a General Contractor, designer and owner of David Smith Company LLC.
He is survived by his wife Julie Eldridge, and two sons, Cole Bates Smith and Mitchell Christian Smith, one brother Timothy and Ruth Smith of Huntington, WV, and sister Melanie and Kris Aldridge of Barboursville, WV; three nephews, Kane Smith, Sailor Aldridge, and Boone Aldridge.
He was a beloved father, husband and brother. David was loved by all…. He was a true Renaissance Man with a creative spirit, an outdoor enthusiast, and a friend to all.
A visitation for David will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 35 Shannon Drive Greenville, South Carolina 29615, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
