David E. Norwood, 68 passed away on Sunday August 12, 2012. He was the son of the late M.F and Inez Bullington Norwood. He is survived by wife, Virginia E. Norwood (Ginny), son Mark Norwood of Marion, NC, daughter Amanda McCartney of Greenville. Grandchildren Andrea and Meghan Norwood, Erik, Page and Macy McCartney, brothers Mike, Paul and Philip Norwood, sister Beth Falwell. He graduated from Marion High School, class of 1962, and attended David Lipscomb University. He was Key Account Manager for Brach's Candy Co., Regional Sales Manager with Sweetheart Cup Co., and retired from Kraft foods. Family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, on Tuesday August 14, 2012. Services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 10:00 am, at the Duncan Church of Christ, 1234 Danzler Road, Duncan, SC with Steve Kepley officiating. Graveside service at McDowell Memorial Park, Marion, NC, at 3:00 pm with Jon Mitchell officiating.
