He retired from the aviation industry in 2023 after a successful career of over 47 years.
Bryan was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend. He loved aviation, automobiles, and pranking family and friends. Bryan will always be remembered for his jokester behavior and contagious laughter as well as the joy that he brought to people around him.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 39 years, Carolyn S Grubb, sister Patricia Munson (Charlie), brothers, Bill Grubb, Jim Grubb and Phillip Grubb (Julie); in-laws, Linda Lee, Gary Simmons, Patricia Wilson (Dan), Richard Simmons, Kimberley Dooley (Mike); Nephews and Nieces, Tyler Grubb, Steven Sloan (Erickson) Ashley Haldeman (Andrew), Logan Grubb, Dalton Grubb, Brooklyn Grubb, Tim Decker (Colleen), Christopher Decker(Tara), Kelly Johnson, Kevin Wilson(Amy), James Richard Lee (Carol), Rebecca Simmons (Jonathan), Brian Simmons (Danielle), Jason Simmons, Michelle Wilhite (Jeff), Michael Simmons (Amber), Mitchell Simmons (Angela), and Michael Dooley Jr, (Courtney), and his many great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, John Ralph Grubb Jr and Barbara Quinn Grubb and siblings, Mary Joan Grubb, and John Ralph Grubb III.

A graveside service will be at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Rd Simpsonville SC 29681, Wednesday August 7. 2024 at 2:00 pm. Mackey Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
