Born on December 3, 1941, Ann dedicated her life to her family and her faith. A member of Tremont Church of God, her unwavering faith and kind spirit were a source of inspiration to many.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Marie Allen; her brother, Ray Allen; her husbands, Jackie Wham and Charlie Brock; and her cherished daughter, Tammie Wham Jordan.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Brock Kerr; son-in-law, Scott Kerr; and two adored grandchildren, Clancy and Charlie Kerr, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sandra Harrington and Brenda Brown; brother Sam Allen and her twin brother Bob Allen.
After retiring from National Electric following 40 years of dedicated service, Ann unexpectedly found a new calling as a preschool teacher. What began as a favor for a friend turned into a decade-long role at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she lovingly cared for infants in the church’s preschool, a role she often called “the best job I ever had.”
Ann had a passion for Clemson football, shopping, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Her generous spirit, love for feeding others, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at Tremont Church of God, 2854 Easley Highway, on December 17, 2024. Visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by the service at 1:30 p.m.
In honor of Ann’s memory, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tremont’s Mission Team.
Ann’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
