Aaron Arnett Awtry

Born in Abbeville County, SC he was the son of the late Elmer and Lila Awtry. A plant engineer at a young age, Aaron was a jack of all trades, there was nothing he could not do and nothing he could not repair. He started his own heating/air and refrigeration business in the mid 90s and this is what he did until retirement. A husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, even great great grandfather, “pops” loved all his babies with everything he had. Aaron was known by many and loved by everyone.

He is pre deceased by his loving wife Gypsy Awtry, daughter Lisa Henson, and sister Betty Doyle. He is survived by daughter, Brandi Awtry (Ulises), son Tony Awtry (Tonya); two step-sons Sam Manley (Christel) and Michael Manley. He is also survived by grand daughters Crystal Autrey (Frankie), Tiffany Pirtle (Jon), Ada Marie Manley, Harper, Emerson and Madelyn Cruz. Grandsons Michael Awtry, Kevin MacDonald, Austin Manley and Nikolai Guzanov. Great grand children Justin Dickson (Katie), Trey Autrey, Aaron Autrey, Brady Autrey, Brooklyn and Ryleigh Awtry, Lyric Pirtle and one great great grand daughter Rilynn Dickson.

A funeral service for Aaron will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2023 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
