Ruth Ann Loudy

Ruth Ann Loudy, age 84 of Greenville, Ohio passed away Saturday January 4, 2025, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Ruth was born August 22, 1940, in McKee, Kentucky and the daughter of the late John and Vivian (Abrams) Gabbard.

She was the co-founder of Loudy Office Machines of Greenville where she worked for 51 years. She was a former member of the Ansonia Congregational Christian Church and attended the Greenville Missionary Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother and father, stepfather Charles “Pops” Armbruster; a brother Bobbie Gabbard and a grandson Evan Sides.

She is survived by her husband Robert W. Loudy of Greenville. They were married January 5, 1963. Also, sons Tim (Lorrie) Loudy of Greenville and Mark (Heather) Loudy of New Madison; granddaughters Ava Loudy, Sara Loudy, Megan Loudy and Mackenzie (Justin) Poynter; great grandsons Hudson and Landon.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday January 16, 2025, in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Gary Oser officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM until time of the service in the funeral home.
