Kathleen Jane Hart

Kathleen Jane Hart, 74 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday July 16, 2021 at 7:30 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community. Kathleen was born January 1, 1947 in Montgomery County, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Buzard) Hart.

Kathleen was a 1965 graduate of Greenville High School; a 1967 graduate of Elkhart University with high honors with a degree in Medical Tech; she worked as a registered lab tech; Kathleen always had a smile on her face and never complained no matter what was going on; she enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and latch point; she was an animal lover especially cats and Dalmatians, she would sit on her porch and feed animals by hand when they would come to her; she loved the color purple.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Joe and James Hart; her sister and brother in law: Christine and Dave Snyder.

Kathleen is survived by her brother: Tim Hart of Greenville; her sisters in law: Sharon Hart and Doris Hart; her nieces and nephews: Mark and Becky Hart, Connie and Bob Barnes, Shari and Dave Harms, Robert and Angela Hart, Daniel and Melissa Snyder, John Snyder, Rachel and Kyle Peterson, and Amanda Hart; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Kathleen’s Life will be held on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Gospel Baptist Church 115 West 5th Street, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Bill Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends a half hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice, Multiple Sclerosis Society, or Gospel Baptist Church.
