I worked with Dave years ago at SCOPE what is now called Miami Valley CAP. He was always a pleasure to work with. I really enjoyed gaining knowledge from him as he could fix anything we worked with. I still carry a lot of that knowledge today still working at MVCAP. My wife and I were always excited to run in to Dave at Walmart and talk about what we were doing, the boys, and how my kids are growing up.  He will always hold a special place. To the family I am sorry for your loss of a great man, may you rest easy Dave until we meet again.

Dave was about like my second Dad when I first met Josh.  He'd always offer me a meal to eat or a place to stay if I ever needed it. There was hardly a dull moment when I worked with him at BSG. Lots of laughs with Dave back then.  He'd do his best to steer me away from trouble,  but he knew kids had to have their fun too.  Thanks for the memories. 

I am so sorry for your loss Josh, Andy, and Sandy. Dave was a very good man. I remember when I was with your family when I was placed into foster care. He was so nice, loving, caring and was just a very easy person to talk to. After I left foster care he still considered me part of the family just like everyone else did. R.I.P Dave Elson you will be missed terribly.

Dear Josh and Andrew,  You have my deepest sympathy. He will be sadly missed by all of us. My heart aches for you both. He always had a kind word to say, a big smile and the best hugs ever.     Such a kind and gentle man. Dave was always willing to go out of his way and help. He was always a friendly person to talk to and a hard worker at Beauty Supply. Surely heaven gained an angel. 

Dave was an absolute delight to have as our neighbor for many years !! He was the neighborhood watch guy, that kept all of us updated what was going on ... He was always so thoughtful and loving , caring for each one of us ... digging us out of the snow, cleaning our side walls, bringing  us fresh veggies and always telling us to yell across the ally if we ever needed anything!!!
We will miss his appearance, riding around on his little red scooter ... waving and beeping at us ! We are very thankful to have gotten to know Dave , we will never forget what a wonderful neighbor he was ! He will be very much missed ....

David  was the  first  Friend I met  when  my family moved  to Union  City. I will always  Remember  him. My Condolences and prayers to the Elson  Family.  May your  Hearts and minds be comforted in knowing he's in a better place  with  his Loved  ones that  left  before him. 

DAVE WAS AN AWSOME MAN MY HUSBAND JIM AND I ONLY KNEW HIM FOR 7 YEARS . WE WOULD TALK WHEN I WOULD GO PAY HIM FOR OUR RENT  HE WOULD GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP US ANY WAY HE COULD  HE WILL BE VERY MUCH MISSED.  RIP DEAR FRIEND

Josh and Andrew! I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You are in my prayers. It sure was a shock to hear this. Now him and Jack Rader are up there enjoying each others company. I enjoyed working with Dave at Beauty Service Supply. We had a lot of fun times.
