Bruce E Miller

Bruce Edward Miller, 87 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday November 7, 2021 at his residence. Bruce was born October 6, 1934 in Columbiana, Ohio, the son of the late Willis E. and Zora (Tyson) Miller Sr. Bruce was a graduate of Heidelberg College with a Bachelor’s Degree and then received a MBA from University of Chicago. He worked as a Business Manager at International Harvester Farm Equipment Division for 40 years retiring in 2000.

Bruce was a member of the United Methodist Church in Johnstown, Ohio; he was a 2 year All American in football at Heidelberg College and was inducted into the Heidelberg College Hall of Fame; he loved to volunteer as a driver for the Brethren’s Retirement Community and Hospice; he was an Eagle Scout and toured North Africa and Europe with the Scouts; he loved to travel.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Carolyn J. (Berger) Miller on October 24, 2012 whom he married May 5, 1957; his daughter: Kimberlee L. Miller July 7, 2013; and his brother: Willis E. Miller Jr.

Bruce is survived by his children: Michael M. Miller of Alexandria, Ohio, William E. Miller of Greenville, Kristina Kelly of Jamestown, Ohio, and Leah Bryant of Greenville; grandchildren: Sydney, Noah, and Gabriel Miller, Ronnie McKinney, Conrad Kelly, Alanna Ruddick, Million Bryant, Treyvaughn Bryant, Alexxander Bryant, Temperance Bryant, Genevieve Bryant, Nathaniel Idle, Jessica Schnabel, and Michael Howard; great grandchildren: LeAnn, Jacob, and Ethan Schnadel, Seth, and Willow Idle, Kiara, Troy, Gary, T.J., and Kevin Howard; and over 120 foster children.

A Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Friday November 19, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Romer’s Catering 118 East Main Street, Greenville, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to EverHeart Hospice.
