Patty, at age 75, was taken too early from this cruel world under suspicious circumstances on May 25th, 2024. She lived her life on her own terms and would help anybody along the way with the knowledge of what a true friendship truly meant. However, this did not prevent her light from being extinguished too soon, depriving the ones that loved her to experience her spunk and stubborn ways. Her feistiness will always be remembered and cherished. This mother, grandmother, and friend will be deeply missed by many.
Patty lived a heavy life with many tragic burdens throughout her life. This includes those who proceeded her in death such as: Father – William M. Manning (’81); Mother – Emma (Donaldson) Manning (’95); Brothers – Robert Manning (’78) and William ‘Billy’ Manning (’74); Ex Husband – Clennie Saylor (’11); Husband – John Burton (’92); along with a Son – Roger Saylor (’11).
Patty is survived by her sister - Rowena Manning; Sons – Clennie ‘Pete’ Manning and Moses Burton; Granddaughter – Jayde (Burton) Osburn; Great Granddaughter – Annaleighsia Osburn; and her dog- Jezebel Burton
No service are planned by her own request. “If you couldn’t make the time to visit me while I am alive, why would I want you to visit after I’m dead.” Patty will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Harris Creek Cemetery in Bradford, Ohio on June 25th, 2024 to be entered for all eternity in the family plot next to her husband and her son.
