Robert "Bob" Ward

Robert "Bob" Ward, 71, of Greensburg passed away on November 9, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1953 in Greensburg, Indiana the son of Charles and Bonnie Ponsler Ward. Bob was a 1972 graduate of Greensburg High School. He married Gail Lynn Israel on June 28, 1980 and together they had two children: Craig and Erin. Bob enjoyed bowling, woodworking, sports and antique car shows. He loved playing with Hadley. He is survived by his wife, Gail Ward; daughter, Erin (Brad) Hardebeck; granddaughter, Hadley Hardebeck; sister, Sandie Garrison; brother in law, David (Peggy) Israel; sister in law, Belva (Steve) Brunner; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Craig Ward. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Visitation will also be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at First Baptist Church from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral at 11:00 am and will be broadcast live on the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home Facebook Page. Pastor Cliff Bunch will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church or to the Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp.
