To Mike's Family,  

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mike was my best friend in school and a groomsman in my wedding—a true part of some of the most important moments in my life. Though we didn’t stay in close contact over the years, whenever we caught up, it was always like old times—never awkward, just effortless and full of laughter. I have so many great memories of Mike, and my heart is heavy knowing he’s gone. Rest in peace my friend. 

Please know that I’m holding all of you in my thoughts and in my prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

I will always look back fondly on the friendship I shared with Michael in our high school years. We both participated in Silhouettes and Shadows. He was always there providing the perfect beat and tempo but also always offering praise and support. He had such talent. I’ll never forget his smile or his passion for music.

Michael I always loved you when you was married to my daughter Mandy! An at Gecom all the fun we had at work. You will be sadly missed Michael by your children my grandkids! You are up there with your dad and  no your hugs are not enough.                Love you always your former mother in law Wanda Ruble.  Give my ex hugs from me ❤️❤️

For those who knew Michael, he was a true musician even at a young age.  Carried the persona of a rock drummer, and protected it enviously.   At his core, he was one of the most gentle and kind souls I had the pleasure of knowing, growing up with and playing music with.  Hearing of his passing hurts my heart.  But certain he'll find a Hammond organ and place a 'reserved' sign for a future session.  A true talent that influenced my rhythm, pace and timing.  Thoughts and prayers to his family during this difficult time.

I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Our family knew Mike & I graduated high school with him as well. He was such a nice guy & he will be missed. My prayers to his family & friends.

Mike’s passing saddens me so much.  When I heard yesterday I replayed so many memories in my mind.  Mike was very good to me as a person.  I was one of the youngest in my class and he never let anyone pick on me.  As his band mate and drum major, he was one of the first people that let me “lead” him.  He just made us better and was willing to keep practicing until we nailed it.  His musicianship was so fun to be around.  I recall him and Chris Huneke breaking into “Home Sweet Home” a lot when we would have downtime in band on the kit.   He knew how to rock.  He knew how to have fun.  I hated his mullet then, but thinking of his curls makes me smile now.  Sticks up buddy, you are now home.

So very sorry for Mike's  passing. I'll  never forget him. He told the dumbest but funniest jokes and always made my day. He will be missed. RIP Mike. Thanks for the laughs.

I am so sorry to hear of Mikes passing! It’s been years since we’ve chatted but we spent many years together as friends and even babysitting for his kiddos! He will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to his family
