Willie Mae Headrick Tate, 86, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Sunday May 3, 2020 at the Moses H. Cone Health Care Center. She was born December 29, 1933 in Dalton, Georgia the daughter of Wheeler and Callie Cochran Headrick.
She was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church.
WillieMae was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Leoma H. Smiley and her brothers, Seth Headrick and Trammel Headrick.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Allen Tate; her son, Allen R. Tate and wife Bonnie; grandchildren, Christy Adams and husband Kelcey, Brandie Rothrock and husband Jason, Teresa Kramer and husband Christopher; great grandchildren, Hailey Adams, Shelby Adams, Tayah Adams, Gabe Adams, Crystal Rothrock, Jack Kramer and a son to be born great great grandson.
Private family funeral services will be held with entombment to follow in the Sedgefield Memorial Mausoleum at Guilford Memorial Park.
A public memorial service will be held later when her church and gathering sizes have been allowed to open and attend.
