William T. Williams

William Ted Williams, 58, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Ted was born July 17, 1959, in Greensboro, NC. Ted is survived by his daughters Katelyn Marie Williams and Kinsey Ann Williams both of Greensboro, North Carolina; sister Judy W. Mancino-Palmer and brother-in-law Richard Palmer of Kernersville. Ted was preceded in death by his parents Henry Oscar (H.O.) Williams, Jr. and Elsie Warren Williams of Greensboro, his aunts Edna Marie Williams and Emmer Loudella Williams of Greensboro, and his grandparents Henry Oscar Williams Sr. and Beulah Brown Williams, William Henry Warren and Georgia Oliver Warren.

Ted graduated from Southeast Guilford High School and went on to earn an associate’s degree from Randolph Technical College in photography. He worked at Western Roto Engravers, Inc. as a prepress technician from 1987 until 2017. Ted was an avid supporter and fan of UNC Lacrosse and UNC Basketball.

A memorial service for Ted will be held at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC on November 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm with visitation for family and friends prior to the service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bryan ADRC (Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center) at 3116 N. Duke Street, Durham, NC 27704.
