William Bryan Talley

Bill was a native of Greensboro, NC, the son of Charles O. and Martha F. Barker Talley. He served his country in the US Navy during WW II and served on the USS Indiana. He worked as a commercial artist for the Atlanta Journal Constitution until his retirement. He was a lover of arts and music. He enjoyed smoking his pipe and listening to classical music. He and his wife were avid bowlers and belonged to several leagues in their earlier years. Bill was also an avid sportsman, enjoying the Atlanta Falcons, but his passion was the Atlanta Braves.

Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathleen in 2008. Those surviving are his siblings; twin sister Martha Talley, Ruth Shope and husband Lawrence, all of Greensboro, NC, Robert Talley and wife Doris of Knightdale, NC, Charles Talley and wife Joy of San Diego, CA.
