Todd White Welborn

On Friday, October 14, 2022, Todd Welborn of Greensboro, North Carolina, peacefully passed away at the age of 59 after a valiant battle with long-term illness. His devotion to his family and his belief in Jesus Christ supported him and brought him peace. Todd was born to the late Terry (Buck) and Betty Welborn in 1963.

He was a graduate of Ragsdale High School, and a member of Sedgefield Country Club. As an excellent businessman, Todd became a successful entrepreneur. Todd was an avid golfer and many have said he had "the most beautiful golf swing they had ever seen". He enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling, experiencing new cultures and foods, and making friends everywhere he went. Todd had a magnetic personality that instantly lit up a room with his sense of humor, impeccable storytelling abilities, generosity and kindness. Todd loved his family and friends more than anything, and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his brother Teddy Welborn and his wife Pam, his sister Vicki Abadie and her husband Greg, his nephew Jon Ebert and niece Heather Harris, his cousin Sherri Hedgecock, his Aunt Nancy Kneece and her husband Harold, his cousins Georgia Mascali and Julie Farris, his cousin June Morgan and countless friends whom he considered family. The Welborn Family would like to thank the staff, doctors, and nurses of the ICU and Palliative Care Team at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for Todd at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Heart Association in Todd's honor.
