Peggy Coble

A committal service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be conducted in the Mausoleum Chapel at Westminster Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Family will receive friends in the Mausoleum Chapel immediately following the service.

Born October 14, 1926 in Burlington, NC to the late Parker and Naomi Phillips, Peggy was of the Christian faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Peggy loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, J. D. Phillips.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband and best friend of 71 years, Bernard Lee Coble of the home; daughter, Cynthia Proctor (Fred) of Summerfield; sons, Parker Lane Coble (Patsy) of Kernersville and Rodger Neil Coble (Shirley) of Charlotte; sisters, Jodie Shaw of Greensboro and Linda Register of Carolina Beach; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
