A service celebrating her life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Sedgefield Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Kim Priddy officiating. The family will receive friends during a reception, one hour prior to the service at the church from 3:00 until 4:00 pm. Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Red Lion, PA on February 18, 1937 to the late George and Carrie Dietz, Nancy was a committed church member at Sedgefield Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Presbyterian Women, the church choir, and served on various church committees. Nancy received her Bachelor’s Degree from Greensboro College and made many life-long friendships there which she cherished up until her final days. She was a member of the Sedgefield Colony Garden Club and the Sedgefield Women’s Club. After college she went into teaching but, later committed her life to being a loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Her main focuses in life were, God, church, family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William “Bill” Campbell, who passed away in 2012 and her beloved son, Andy Campbell who passed away in 1996.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Laura Campbell; brother-in-law, Gene Campbell; and a host of loving friends.
