Marion Lorraine Angel

Mrs. Marion Lorraine Angel, 90, passed away on December 23, 2015 at Hospice Home of Alamance County in Burlington. A service to celebrate her life will be on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2 PM in Westminster Gardens mausoleum chapel officiated by Reverend Vernon McDaniel. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM prior to the service.

Mrs. Angel was born in Greensboro to the late Claude G. Bullock, Sr. and Lessie Whitesell Bullock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Avery Dillard Angel in 2007 and her daughter, Carol Angel Little in 2014.

Mrs. Angel graduated from Greensboro Senior High School. She will be remembered as a generous woman with a caring and thoughtful nature. She was a woman who loved to serve God by serving others and was an active member for many years at Glenwood Presbyterian Church where she studied with the Fellowship Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Friendly Sunshine Club and the Telephone Pioneers. Mrs. Angel was a service representative for Southern Bell and retired after 35 years of employment.

She is survived by her grandson, Edwin Little of South Hill, VA; brother, Claude G. Bullock, Jr., and his wife, Doris of Greensboro; son-in-law, Odis Little of Kenbridge, VA; four nieces; and three nephews.
