Margaret W. Holder

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro.

Born June 17, 1934, in Greensboro, to the late Ernest and Lillie Willard, Margaret was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Margaret retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after 30 years of employment. After she and her husband retired they moved to Sunset Harbor and later moved to Badin Lake. Margaret so enjoyed being on the water and fishing. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed all their special times together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Frank Holder and her brother, Tom Willard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Woodrow Land and Kenneth Holder (Kim); grandchildren, Kelly Jones (Sam) of Columbia, SC and Kristen Saylor (Zach) of Huntersville, NC; and a great-grandson, Hayes Jones.
