It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of London Gabriel Pepper, age 23, of Greensboro, NC, on July 11, 2024. Born on April 2, 2001, in Augusta, Ga., London is a beloved son, grandson, and friend who leaves an indelible mark on all who knew him.
London, a Western Guilford High School graduate, was actively pursuing a cybersecurity certification. His passion for technology and unwavering determination promised a bright future in a field he loved. He was employed at Lawrence Trucking, where his colleagues valued his hard work, kindness, and reliability.
London was a gentle and adventurous person known for his love of gaming and exploring new horizons. His kind heart and warm spirit endeared him to many, and he had a unique ability to connect with animals. He never met a dog that did not become an instant friend. He loved sweets of all kinds, never leaving a bowl of ice cream unfinished, and made the best homemade cinnamon rolls!
He leaves behind his loving parents, LaToya Jones-Pepper and Eric Pepper, loving sibling, DaeToine Jones, beloved grandparents, Isabella Jones, Leslie Rice, Conny Jones and Steve Pepper, and numerous family members and friends who feel his loss deeply. London’s legacy of compassion, adventure, and kindness will be remembered and celebrated by all fortunate enough to have known him.
A viewing will be held at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N.Elm St. Greensboro, on July 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will take place on July 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the same venue, followed by refreshments where family and friends may gather to share memories and support each other during this unimaginably difficult time.
London’s absence is deeply felt, and his memory is forever etched in the hearts of those who love him. He is terribly missed and will always be remembered for his gentle nature, his quirky sense of humor, and the joy he brought to others.
