Kevin E. Herron

A memorial mass, celebrating his life, will be held at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday evening, December 3, 2018 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd. in Greensboro. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm during the receiving of friends, that same evening.

Kevin was born in New York on July 10, 1955 to the late James Thomas Herron and Catherine Evelyn Jensen Herron. He graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. He was Senior Vice President at UBS Financial Services Inc with Redstone Wealth Management. Kevin was an avid golfer and a member of Sedgefield Country Club. He lived a life full of joy and love, making the best of every day. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Herron Roy and a brother, Robert Herron.

Those left to cherish his memory include his adoring wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Barton Herron; his son Kevin Emmett Herron, Jr. of Greensboro; his daughter, Kelly Herron Hoover and her husband Daniel of Raleigh; brother, Allen James Herron of VA; sister-in-law, Peggy "Margaret" Herron of VA; and other extended family and host of friends and colleagues.
