He was the son of the late Abner and Nellie Ball of Greensboro. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Autry Ball; his sister, Faye; and best brother-in-law, George Best.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Ball (Kaye) of Greensboro and Buddy Ball of Denton; his daughter, Lynn Ball of Walnut Cove; grandchildren, Ivey Pilcher (Devin), Camden Ball (Sara), Davin Ball and Brooke Ball; and his great-granddaughter, Sailyr.
Mack was a mechanic on both cars and then large trailers. After retiring, he loved to fix things and just piddle. He loved the hunt of junk as a treasure. Taking things thrown out and making something new with them. Pop loved sharing with his kids and grandkids. Everyone know that whatever it was, Pop could fix it! He was loved and will be missed any all of us.
